An estimated 130 million children of primary school age are not in school - The leading reason is their parents cannot afford the school materials, fees and uniforms. In the US we don’t give a thought as to which of our children will go to school. For many parents around the world they MUST choose which child they can afford to send to school – and the majority of the time it will be a boy.
